Rachel Howard

Born in London and raised in Athens, Rachel Howard considers both cities home. She has written two best-selling guides to Secret London and was the founding editor-in-chief of This is Athens, the first official guide to Athens. She writes mainly about Greece, for publications including Conde Nast Traveller, Travel + Leisure, the FT, and The Telegraph, but enjoys playing with words in many different formats and contexts – translating screenplays, researching, writing, and voicing documentaries and audio guides (most recently, for Athens with Google), or coming up with brand names and compelling storytelling for the creative industries.
